Dr. Jonathan L. Nelson, D.D.S., is a native of Iowa.

Dr Jonathan Nelson was raised in the great state of Iowa. He was born in Story City, and graduated from Storm Lake High School. Undergraduate education brought Dr Nelson to the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. At Nebraska he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science while swimming for the Nebraska Cornhusker Swimming and Diving Team as a 100-butterfly specialist. Dr Nelson continued his education in Lincoln when he entered the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. The Doctor of Dental Surgery degree was conferred upon Dr Nelson in the spring of 2003. Despite being a bona fide Cornhusker at this point, Madison, Wisconsin would bring the next opportunity. Dr Nelson became a licensed dentist in Wisconsin and practiced for several years in a large dental group. The mountain lifestyle and dreams of owning a private dental practice succeeded in drawing Dr Nelson to Colorado. He became licensed in the state of Colorado and acquired his practice in Windsor in November 2007. In the pursuit of perfection, a new building was purchased, allowing a clean slate to design and build an all new, state of the art office, opening in December 2012. When not seeing patients in his beautiful new facility, you may find Dr Nelson pedaling his bicycle along the fantastic front range, skiing the incredible slopes, and fly-fishing the idyllic streams of Colorado.

Professional growth never ceases. Dr. Nelson is an active member of the American Dental Association, Colorado and Wisconsin Dental Associations, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He routinely attends more than 100 hours of continuing education each year. He is a member of the local Seattle Study Club for dentists. He continues to donate his time and talents to Colorado Mission of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile programs. Dr. Nelson is a proud member of the Better Business Bureau and Windsor Chamber of Commerce.[/framed_box]
